It’s Winter!!!!!
The trees have all shed their leaves and we have all but got them raked and deposited in the compost pile. Time to reflect on the past busy months of the crop year. Cold foggy mornings call for later starts and a slower pace to follow. Daylight appears by 7 and dark closes in by 4:30, sure signs of winter. Our store is closed for the winter and we will be opening around the 1st. of May,2012.
We still are offering feeding grains for the bird watchers and feeders. We have White Provo Millet, and White Winter Wheat. Corn for the squirrels and don’t forget the chickens. These are available in the small wooden building in front of the store. Self serve is available during daylight hours. We have other items from time to time also. The variety changes weekly as available. You may call Uncle D. if you have questions. 7: am to 4:00 pm.
We would like to thank you all for the kind and continuous support of our farm store. Agriculture is the back bone of America. Without the American farmer this country would be dependent on imported food. Knowing your food source is becoming an important part to the American Family.
Gramma’s Place is closed for the winter and will reopen May 1, 2012.
